Job description: Contributes to the Finance Operational Shared Services team by providing supplementary quality assurance and control, cross-functional specialization and support.

What you will deliver:

• Provides oversight of quality and delivery of shared services across team verticals, including maintenance and reporting of SLAs
• Identifies issues in quality and service delivery, diagnoses the problem and recommends solutions
• Shares specialized experience and contributes to resolving complex, cross-functional issues in a timely manner
• Conducts internal spot checks and quality assurance and control processes ongoing
• Assists in training the Shared Services team on processes, policies and procedures, reviewing their work, and providing feedback to achieve efficiencies and effectiveness of Shared Services processes.
• Reviews output from the Shared Services analysts to ensure accuracy and completion in accordance with established timelines.
• Assists with the development and implementation of new policies and procedures.
• Evaluates risks to performance quality and service delivery and recommends mitigating actions
• Ensures documentation to support transactions and activities is in accordance with company policies and requirements.
• Assists with ensuring that key controls over financial reporting are operating effectively for areas of responsibility.
• Coordinates communications and service delivery to internal stakeholders

• Internal controls over financial reporting and accounting policies
• Risk assessment and fraud prevention principles
• Strong computer skills with a high level of competence in Excel, Word, Google Suite and Yardi (CF Voyager)

What you need to succeed:

• College or University degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or Commerce
• 5+ years’ experience in a combination or AP, AR, Revenue, Lease Admin or Accounting functions
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial real estate, or property accounting
