Typical opportunities include CFO, Controller, HR Management, Tax Manager, Internal Audit, Senior Accountant, Financial Analyst, Senior Production/JV Accounting. Our opportunities include permanent employment and both short and long-term contracts.
Our client is an established public company with operations across North America. Currently there is a need to hire 1-2 contract consultants for temporary help due to corporate acquisitions. Term will range from 5 to 12 months with a possibility of extension and/or conversion to full-time employment.
Responsibilities
One or more of the following areas; could be concurrent duties:
- External financial reporting
- Complex accounting e.g., hedging, derivatives, stock-based comp, equity investments, leasing, pensions
- Consolidations
- MD&A
- Management (internal) reporting
- Tax, legal entity reporting
Requirements
- Completion or near completion of CPA accounting designation
- Experience with large public companies preferred
This work will be conducted remotely, from anywhere in Canada. Hours 9 AM to 4 PM MST. Some overtime expected at month- and quarter-end peaks.
