Job title: Retail Finance Process Integration and Control
Job description:
- Be an integral part of Retail Finance project delivery team during solutioning, development, testing phase and delivery to operation
- Work with Finance leadership to ensure proper documentation of the go forward support structure, assist with change management and training of the back-office team
- Support reconciliation, interfaces, and integrations between systems, access financial data and provide expert analysis
- Work collaboratively with the cross-functional project team to translate business process into Financial and Settlement processes
- Be the finance retail lead on marketing and loyalty program initiative by collaborating with Marketing, IT and operations
- Documentation of controls and failure point of system changes
- Be a change agent, champion process improvement discipline in all process improvements or business development opportunity
- Leverage analytical tools to diagnose, recommend and resolve significant process issues
- Actively provide relevant business/functional expertise while demonstrating creativity, adaptability and resourcefulness
- Capacity to diagnose, document and propose solutions to complex financial settlement issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or finance with a CPA designation (equivalent experience considered)
- A minimum of 3+ years’ work experience in retail finance, financial systems and process integration technology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience using JD Edwards and/or retail back office systems (such as PDI), an asset
- Bilingual in English and French
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents.
