Job description: Our client is a leading professional services management company with a multitude of expanding business lines. They are currently looking for a Senior Accounting Manager who will be supporting one of the operating divisions at the company and is responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting

About the Opportunity
- Reviews routine transactions to determine accuracy of results
- Prepares complex accounting entries
- Prepares consolidated financial results – monthly, quarterly
- Prepares external and internal consolidated financial reports
- Responsible for the accuracy of the financial information
- Prepares basic business cases and provides input to complex business cases
- Liaises with auditors to review audit support
- Accountable for compliance with internal and external audit requirements
- Prepares policies, policies and procedures
- Prepares annual plans and quarterly reforecast
- Conducts in-depth financial analysis and makes recommendations to Senior Finance and Operations Management
- Responds to internal and external client requests for ad hoc analysis
- Accountable for operational decisions made by direct reports
- Makes operational decisions (i.e., process changes)
- Supports strategic decisions by participating in steering committees, special projects, etc
- Prepares basic business cases. Provides input to complex business cases
- Manages a team of individual contributors
- Develops, trains and coaches team member
- Creates development and coaching plans
- Conducts performance reviews
- Makes hire, disciplinary and fire decisions
- Identifies and implements new ways to improve quality and efficiency of financial processes
About You
- CPA
- 5-10 years of experience currently at the Manager level
- Hands on financial reporting and people management experience
Salary Range
Highly competitive compensation package dependent on candidate experience
