We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst – Commercial for a position located in Montreal. The person will be member of the Finance team supporting the commercial operations of East of Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate to the production and communicate of operational performance analysis (volume / rate / mix analysis), profitability analysis by province, segment, customer and product.
  • Responsible of operational expenses tracking, variance analysis and explanations.
  • Production of business case and ROI analysis supporting commercial agreements renewal.
  • Participate to the monthly closing process, monthly forecast and annual operational plan preparation.
  • Work closely with all stakeholder to identify and quantify all the risk and opportunities that could have an impact on the financial plan.
  • Ensure accurate customer pricing, rebates and other elements impacting customer billings. Assist in resolving escalated customer receivable issues.
  • Ensure the enforcement of global and local finance policies and internal controls and documentation of standard operating policies.

Capabilities:

  • You have a university degree in administration with a speciality in accounting or finance.
  • You have an CPA accounting designation (an advantage)
  • You speak French and English. (Atlantic region business partner)
  • You have 4 to 7 of valuable experience in finance or accounting, especially operational finance management.
  • You have experience in the consumer goods industry (an asset).
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent relationships within the business.
  • You are serious about results and take pride in a proven track record in delivering.
  • Strong knowledge of technology tools such as MS-Suite and SAP/BW.
