Job title: Senior Finance Analyst, FP&A – Health Care – Markham
Job description:
- Lead the budgeting process by collaborating with multiple levels in the operational team and senior management to develop annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts
- Oversee and administer the organization’s financial systems, including accounting software, budgeting tools, and reporting systems.
- Prepare budget presentations for executive leadership.
- Assist other departments in managing budgets by providing tracking tools, historical information, and analyses.
- Work closely with various departments to gather financial data and collaborate on budget development.
- Provide financial expertise to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Provide training and guidance to finance staff on system usage and best practices.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior financial analysts, assisting in their professional development and growth within the organization.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data within these systems.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to maintain and update financial software.
- Identify and implement system enhancements to improve efficiency and data accuracy

- CPA or CFA designation preferred.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in managing financial systems, budgeting, and financial analysis
- NetSuite experience is preferred
- Ability to rapidly adapt to changing circumstances and deliver results under minimal supervision.
- Experience in Senior Living space or Healthcare is preferred
