Responsibilities

Provide guidance to management and leaders on finance and reporting-related projects. Including infrastructure, models, processes, controls, and more
Assess and manage risks, improve tools and processes to reduce risks and exposure to errors/variances
Deep dive analysis on variances and provide reports/summaries to management
Provide key insights on year-end, financial reporting
Assist in financial analysis, identifying areas of improvement
Oversee projects, ensuring completeness and execution
Communicate with business partners and management, sharing progress, reports, risks, trends, and opportunities

Qualifications

-5+ years of experience from an Insurance/bank/consulting firm.
-Designation is an asset (CPA/PMP)
-SOX and IFRS experience is a strong asset (9, 15, 16, 17)
-5+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance or FP&A is required
-Backend experience, managing, and creating tools is an asset
-Functional exposure to Finance systems
-Collaborative and enjoys project management
-Innovative and solution-driven mindset

Summary

Compensation: 50-115+/hour depending on experience
Duration: 1 year+ (rolling contract)
Type: Contract
Location: GTA – Work from home 100%
