Our client, a top tier professional services company, needs an exceptional Senior Finance Director to lead a large team. Looking for an ex-management consultant, maybe an engineer and/ or MBA, and/ or a proven CPA with 15+ years progressive industry experience including finance oversight, business partnering, and deep analytics. A player and a coach. A people manager, and strong leader who isn’t afraid to be hands on, while also being able to command a room with an well-honed Executive presence.

Reporting directly to the Executive team, we need a confident, mature leader who is keen to build and promote an already strong culture. A thought leader, and executor who has impressive high-quality output and deliverables, amidst competing priorities and deliverables. Time management, attention to detail, strong ethics, a consistent moral code and corporate professionalism are all required.

Hybrid WFH, downtown. Following vaccine protocols.

This Senior Finance Director role is an exciting opportunity as a business partner to key leaders, directly contributing to the overall success of the organization with financial metrics and insight.

As a confident and proven leader, the self-starter Senior Finance Director will be responsible for process improvement, financial oversight, improving financial integrations with operations, and leading the finance function for the company with support from internal and external resources.

This Senior Finance Director is a unique leadership opportunity for a sharp and proven MBA, and/or CPA with 15+ years’ experience overseeing finance, to actively contribute to the innovations of its stakeholders and own the accounting and finance functions, including budgeting, financial management, financial reporting, operational metrics, and more!

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Director role will possess the following characteristics:

• MBA and/ or CPA designation is required.
• 15+ years of progressive experience, including exceptional people management skills.
• Strong business acumen, a people leader, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Professionalism and diligence are a must.
• Positive, collaborative, results driven attitude with a desire to learn, implement change.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of confidentiality.
• Exceptional organization skills and ability to scope out difficult tasks and projects, set objectives and goals, prioritize multiple activities, and anticipate and manage roadblocks.
• Experience managing subject matter experts.
• Skillful in managing competing priorities while under tight deadlines.
