Job title: Solutions Associate, Border Security

Job description: As a Product Associate in our Border Security group, you will be responsible for supporting the development of our suite of border security products (e.g., border management systems, passports and passport issuing systems, biometrics, etc.). In this entry level product management role, you will work directly alongside CBN Product Managers and Directors, and routinely interface with our business development, project management, software development and manufacturing teams.

What You Will Do

  • Collect competitor intelligence and maintain a detailed repository of information;
  • Support preparation of presentation materials (slide decks, binders, etc.);
  • Support preparation of commercial proposals (RFP responses);
  • Support marketing and promotional activities;
  • Assist with the coordination of client visits and/or demonstrations;
  • Prepare and share updates and communications with internal stakeholders/business; and
  • Various other duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

  • University degree in Business (or related field) or STEM field or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • 0-3 years of experience in business environment (new grads welcome)
  • Technical writing experience (asset)
  • Familiarity with Agile (Kanban) methodologies (asset)
  • Familiarity with Jira (asset)

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in MS 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Intermediate Excel skills (basic formulas, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro (or similar)
  • English (required), French and/or Spanish (asset)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent organization/time management/prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail

Mandatory Requirements

  • Submission of a cover letter along with your application
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance
  • Ability to travel domestically/internationally approx. 1-2 weeks/year
