Job title: Sr. Accounting Analyst
Job description: Our client, a publicly listed company, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst with a strong analytical background to support a number of key initiatives. This role will start out on a 3-month contract and has the potential extension.
Reporting directly to the Manager of Finance, your responsibilities will include:
– Prepare and reconcile month end, quarter end and year reports, in accordance with IFRS, including JEs, Intangibles, PPE, Prepaids, G& A, R& D, prepaids (LT and ST), accruals, service fee and other internal reports
– work with technical accounting to ensure alignment with existing policies
– Reconciliations and variance reporting
– Project reporting
– Assist with the SR& ED claim
– Assist with internal and external audit
-prepare complex journal entries and approve/post entries prepared by others.
