The Center of Excellence Finance team is part of the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Finance team providing direct support to the Manufacturing teams to drive the development of forecasting and planning, financial reporting, productivity and KPI’s reporting in order to help Weston Foods achieve its financial targets. Reporting to the Director, Finance – COE, you will be responsible for providing support and in-depth financial analysis for a variety of activities in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ownership of weekly/monthly financial and KPI reporting and adherence to reporting deadlines
  • Participate in period close process including booking P&L accruals and other journal entries;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of financial reporting processes

evaluates accuracy, completeness & effectiveness of data reporting. * Support financial variance analysis and perform specific deep-dives as needed

  • Assist with preparing data for financial presentations, ensuring integrity & accuracy
  • Cross functional collaboration with other teams to complete various periodic tasks and ad hoc tasks/projects as required

ABOUT YOU:

  • University Degree preferably in Business/Economics/Mathematics or related field
  • 2-3 years relevant experience in an analyst capacity
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience developing and running financial models
  • Exceptional knowledge of Windows & Microsoft Office Suite (Access experience would be an asset)
  • Proven experience translating raw data into analytical models to support decision making
  • Strong problem solving skills with a high level of analytical ability
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
