Line of Business: Enterprise Security and Risk Services (ESRS)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. A little flexibility with work hours. 37.5hours/week. No overtime will be required.
Project the contractor will be working on: This resource will be supporting a variety of information security projects. In this role you will join the Bank’s Information Security Project Management Office to lead and successfully deliver multiple large-scale projects/programs in collaboration with business partners, vendors, and technical resources. You will be accountable for the overall execution of project deliverables and ensure alignment to the scope, schedule and financial status.
You’ll provide guidance to others and manage a portfolio of projects from end-to-end. As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead teams of stakeholders and business partners to ensure projects of all sizes are completed in line with the team’s budget and timeline. You’ll use your expertise in project management methodology to make recommendations for continuous improvements on all project plans
Group information: The Information Security PMO (as part of ESRS) is responsible for managing all projects related to cybersecurity, identity and access management, and more.

The Candidate will Be Working with: This resource will be working closely with the PM and PCO, development team, DevOps team, QA team, infrastructure team, 3rd party vendors, business leads and sponsors, and other departments as needed.
Daily Job Duties/Activities:
- Project and Scope Management: You will create detailed project plans, in collaboration with stakeholders, and determine organizational and financial feasibility. You will integrate project plans at project/program level, creating estimating models as required, refine plan and manage performance against it. You will follow the established governance guidance for all communications, financial and change management, and use established project status reporting tools. You bring extensive practical experience and knowledge with techniques for planning, organizing, and monitoring multiple IT projects simultaneously.
- Communications Management: You will coach and mentor project resources (internal/external) and work to proactively identify and resolve issues/conflicts. You will also act as a focal point of contact for the project, and through collaboration and persuasion, direct stakeholders towards a common goal. You will also create high quality professional written communications and presentations, to the team, stakeholders and to executive leadership on a regular basis.
- Financial Management: You will identify and manage overall project costs and budgets, including monitoring resource requirements for people, hardware, software, and change requests, the creation of project forecasts, reporting monthly actuals and variances, within the financial risk appetite of the project. You will be using the financial tools to meet monthly financial reporting requirements.
- Experienced Scrum Master: You are an experienced Agile practitioner, with an understanding of Agile methodologies and execution best practices. You execute sprints on time, facilitate key ceremonies, such as daily scrums, sprint planning and retrospectives. You can use Agile methodologies to manage the complex problems delivery teams face. You create an environment where team freely escalates challenges; facilitates change through positive reinforcement of successes. You can lead, plan, execute and evaluate project activities to ensure completion of initiatives. Experience with Jira is a plus.
Must Haves:
- PMP & Agile SM certified
- 5-7+ years of experience in IT project management with both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Experience working on a mix of both applications and infrastructure related projects
- Extensive experience handling scheduling, financial planning & reporting, and documentation of artifacts.
- Experience with Information Security Project Management, and HP Planview.
- Previous banking experience
