Job description: Supervisor, Accounting – west island
Our client, a company located in the west island in the manufacturing industry, is looking for a Supervisor, Accounting to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements ;
- Supervise a team
- Responsible for the month-end closing process;
- Develop financial reporting, modelling and forecasting tools and investigate variances monthly;
- In conjunction with the Corporate controller, design and implementation of controls, policies and procedures;
- Maximize accounting system with the Corporate Controller;
- Manage year end audit process with the external auditors;
- Various ad hoc assignments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- CPA designation with 3-6 years of relevant experience
- Bilingual
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment
