Job title: VP/Director of Finance

Job description: Our reputable client is seeking an interim VP/Director of Finance to join the company.As a member of the Executive Team, the VP/Director of Finance will participate in the strategic planning process and will maintain and report on key financial metrics. This contract opportunity will also be providing financial leadership in managing budgets, overseeing all accounting functions, and conducting forecast analysis.

– Manage adherence to the company’s accounting policies and procedures

– Report regularly on the company’s key financial metrics for internal and board stakeholders

– Develop operating and financial metrics, analyze results and trends to create impactful insights, report results to executive leadership and key stakeholders, and improve forecasting and modeling accuracy

– Generate detailed business unit projections, highlight risks/opportunities, and oversee the preparation of relevant materials

– Manage the annual/quarterly/monthly budgeting and forecasting processes

– Develop operational and long-term budgets and forecasts for the organization with the executive team and then monitor and report on performance against those budgets

– Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with the company’s bankers, auditors, government agencies, and other professional organizations

– Must maintain a high level of accuracy and be detail oriented

– Demonstrated high level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability

– Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills

– Minimum of 8 years’ experience at an executive level role

– Bachelor or Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting

– CPA designation or MBA highly preferred

– Must be able to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment with excellent written and verbal skills
