About the Role
We are currently looking for a Part Time Bookkeeper to assist the finance team in building a solid foundation for the business to thrive on. This is an incredible opportunity to shape the future of the brand in an exciting consumer category that is booming and do so in a fast paced, start-up environment.

We are a looking for a Bookkeeper that is analytical, technical, a problem solver who can work independently as well as a part of a team. The ideal candidate will be a self starter who has a passion for finance.

What You’ll Be Doing
As Partake Brewing’s Bookkeeper you will be responsible for the following:

• Performing Full Cycle Accounting Tasks within QuickBooks
• Entering AP invoices from suppliers into the GL using correct accounts
• Entering AR from customer PO’s into the GL
• Clearing bank transactions and recording to GL
• Recording Journal Entries where necessary
• Reporting on AP and AR aging

Qualifications & Skills

• 1-2 years bookkeeping experience
• Solid understanding of basic accounting and payables/receivables principles
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
• Excellence in written and oral communication
• Ability and interest in working in a unique, entrepreneurial environment
• Experience working with Excel and Word
• Experience with QuickBooks a must

This is a part-time role with full-time potential that reports to the Financial Accountant. We will be offering $20/ hour, 15 to 20 hours per week. We are open to applicants from across Canada, but candidates from Calgary will be our first preference.
