We are seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our Advisory, Management Consulting team as a Consultant Intern/Co-op working in our Management Consulting practice in Calgary starting Summer 2022. Positions are available in the following service lines:

Enterprise Performance Management
The Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice works with finance functions to empower them to become more insightful and true business partners. We are trusted advisors in budgeting, planning and forecasting, close and consolidation, reporting and analytics with a particular focus on implementing technology solutions to enable these processes.
People & Change
We advance our client’s business performance by helping to shape and navigate the important people dynamics related to the transformation and future of work, capabilities and behaviours. We assist our clients with strategic alignment, workforce shaping, embedding inclusion and diversity, capability building & learning, digital HR transformation and culture shifting. With experience in all industries, as well as both the private and public sectors, our People and Change practice helps organizations drive value and enhance success by optimizing their talent agenda and activating their most valuable resource, their people.
Finance Transformation
Our Finance Transformation practice delivers tailored finance transformation solutions, from finance strategy and optimizations to technology-enabled transformation to digital finance strategies that can help organizations better respond to business disruptions and support their business strategy. As a finance transformation service specialist, we support the increased responsibilities of the chief financial officer (CFO) and finance leaders to boost the business impact of organizations financial systems, improve finance forecasting through predictive analytics, and modernize organizational and financial processes to achieve sustainable growth.
As part of the finance transformation team you will support organizations with; end-to-end finance process transformation, finance organization design and optimization, profitability and cost management, regulatory accounting changes, cloud enabled ERP finance transformation, financial close and governance solutions, digital finance strategy, extreme automation strategy and implementation and predictive analytics.
Technology Strategy and Transformation
KPMG’s TST team supports businesses’ digital transformations that connect front-end, intermediate and administrative services, from beginning to end. We collaborate with the directors of technology, of information and various functions, including digital ones, to define their vision for digital transformation, then develop a personalized technology strategy and implementation plan that will drive value of the company. We also offer services covering the entire data lifecycle, from developing data strategies to deploying data platforms that generate critical insights and analytics. All of this, in order to increase confidence in your data, make more informed decisions and limit exposure to regulatory sanctions.
Enterprise Solutions
KPMG’s Enterprise Solutions teams help client teams to create and maintain a competitive advantage in the market. Your role will help clients to strategically enhance their internal operating models to become a digitally connected enterprise. You will help CIOs make their function future ready. As part of a team that applies skills in IT strategy and system implementation such as Oracle, Workday, Microsoft, SAP, ServiceNow etc. you will help clients execute their transformation strategies with the technology best suited to their business, data, and information requirements.
What you bring to the role
- You are enrolled in a university degree program (we will be considering candidates from a spectrum of programs such as business, commerce, science, engineering, arts, etc.). Candidates graduating between December 2022 and August 2023 should apply.
- You are a highly motivated individual, enthusiastic to take on a variety of challenges and opportunities
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- You have a strong academic record
- You engage or participate in activities beyond your formal education (i.e. You play on a varsity team, you are part of or lead student organizations, you maintain a part-time job etc.)
- You have the ability to work independently without supervision
- You have strong problem solving and analytical abilities, as well as a proven track record of successfully dealing with competing priorities and deadlines under pressure
- You have a strong sense of personal accountability
- You have an entrepreneurial drive, and are a creative problem solver
