Job description: Our Edmonton-based client is looking for their next Payroll and Benefits Administrator! This position is part-time, permanent, and working in-office. The organization is seeking individuals who may be interested in a job-share with another Payroll and Benefits Administrator, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in the office, would like to work less than 30 hours per week, and has at least three years of experience in payroll administration!
Role responsibilities:
- Preparation, documentation, and disbursement of bi-weekly payroll
- Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and company policies
- Collecting & reviewing timesheets, maintaining employee records
- Responding to payroll inquiries
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Calculating overtime, vacation, taxable benefits, and special payments
- External reporting: ROE, T4, WCB
- Internal reporting and analysis as needed
- Benefits administration
- Ad-hoc reporting, reconciliations & other finance department tasks as required
