Job description: indigo Network is a group of marketing and communications companies, with primary operations in Minneapolis, Toronto, Montreal, Detroit, and New York.

This role will support a number of DPN Agencies, within the areas of advertising, public relations, media and content production. The Analyst plays an integral part of the Finance team as they conduct analysis, provide recommendations and implement processes to further improve Financial oversight and provide strategic partnership to Agency Operations. The Analyst will interface with a variety of agency business leads to compile data, analyze and discuss findings The position assists with; the collaboration of report creation, updating reports, dashboards, preparing presentations and tracking KPIs for a group of agencies and their internal departments.

What Youll Do:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports (via reports pulled from agencies’ ERP and use of Excel
  • Perform data entry, verification, and back-up; maintain database of reports
  • Develop automated reporting capabilities via excel to improve efficiency of report generation
  • Manage and coordinate the key financial measurements
  • Monitor variances, track determined performance metrics, and follow up on discrepancies and monitoring of improvement plans
  • Conduct business studies, review accounts, vendor reports
  • Analyze financial performance and develop forecast models
  • Perform budget and cost analysis, reviewing and advisory of financial status
  • Communicate or liaise with direct management and other finance team members
  • Present verbal or oral reports on general economic trends, individual corporations, and whole industries
