Job Summary

Are you passionate about small-shop fundraising? Are you invested in social justice? Then Somerset West Community Health Centre (SWCHC) wants to hear from YOU! We’re seeking a Manager, Fundraising Program to dream up, develop, and implement our first-ever centre-wide fundraising strategy. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to build a fundraising program from the ground-up, with a balance of both autonomous work and collaboration as you get to know the SWCHC landscape.

The Manager, Fundraising Program will work closely with senior leadership and program managers to develop a comprehensive long-term fundraising plan for our centre and put into place the foundational systems, policies, processes, and tools necessary to make it a reality. There’s an important cause at the heart of all we do: supporting our neighbours and community to enjoy the best possible health and well-being by providing low-barrier health and social services. Your work will help fill the gaps in our existing funding agreements, leading to the sustainability and growth of critical community supports.

This is an 18-month term position with the possibility of extension. SWCHC provides a flexible working environment and is open to a hybrid (remote and in-office) working arrangement for the successful candidate.

SWCHC strives to ensure that our team reflects the communities we serve. We work within an anti-racist, anti-oppressive framework that acknowledges the existence and impacts of systemic racism, and seeks to ensure that systems are fair and equitable for everyone.
