Job description: Adecco Professional is looking for an Accounting and HR Administrator to join our growing client in Ontario – this is a fully remote position but must be in the Province. This full-time, permanent opportunity is a newly created position to support the organization with various accounting, administration and human resource related functions so lots of variety to this position. The responsibilities for this Accounting and HR Administrator job opening in Ontario include, but are not limited to: * Responsible for various financial and administrative duties to ensure smooth work flow
- Receive, organize and review invoices to ensure accurate information/calculations and GL coding; track POs, matching, request back up when needed
- Perform reconciliations and monthly cash flow reporting
- Set up and update vendors into the system
- Database administration, data entry, reporting, timeline alerts/scheduling and more
- Ensure data backups are performed and watch/correct any data errors in compliance with data integrity and security
- Work closely with the Legal team to update employee policies and handbooks for the varied locations in North America
- Help develop and execute a new employee onboarding program alongside setting up a compliance program and tracking database
- Ordering and shipping equipment to new hires
- Assist with financial/HR/Administrative filing, scanning and other additional tasks as required.
Qualifications for this Accounting and HR Administrator job opening in Ontario include: * At least 3+ years of Accounting and Administrator experience
- Exposure to HR related functions
- Completed post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration or Human Resources
- Strong MS Office skills and fast/accurate data entry abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; spoken and written
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail and meticulous follow through/follow up skills
- Self-starter with the ability to get work done in a time efficient manner; flexible, takes initiative
