Job title: Accounting Manager
Job description: Are you interested in taking your career to the next level? Robert Half is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee a small team for a Non for Profit organization. This is a full-time/permanent position located in Downtown Ottawa.

Responsibilities:
-Oversee the functions of the Accounts Payable, Receivables and Payroll
-Update training materials and departmental procedures as needed
-Prepare internal financial statements by gathering and analyzing information
-Prepare general ledger entries and reconciliations
-As required answer queries and complaints from vendors
-Review and investigate invoices
-Payroll support as required
-Revenue Postings/Analysis and Variance Reporting
-Establishment of procedures and processes
-Lead and participate in the month audit process
-Contributions to special projects as they arise
Qualifications:
-Must be fully vaccinated
-Enrolled in the CPA program
-Bilingualism would be an asset
-3+ years experience in a similar role.
-Ability to manage personnel.
-Excellent computer skills, in particular use of Excel and Microsoft Dynamics GP
-Ability to communicate both in writing and orally with staff and other functional groups.
