Job title: Accounting Technician

Job description:

• Weekly payroll-related journal entries as well as remittance of payroll deductions ;
• Prepare sales taxes monthly entries and remittances to various provincial governments ;
• Miscellaneous intercompany billings ;
• Reconcile multiple balance sheet accounts ;
• Participate in month-end closing and prepare journal entries (prepaid, accruals, reallocations, etc.) ;
• Support in the audit file with external auditors and taxation fiscal team, when needed ;

C OMPETENCIES

• DEC, DEP, BCom or equivalent in accounting ;
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an accounting position ;
• Strong Excel skills ;
• Bilingualism – strong written and verbal communication skills in French & English ;
• Attention to details and accuracy ;
• Demonstrated organization skills and ability to prioritize ;
• Experience with SAP an asset.

• Legal status to work in Canada is required.
