Job description: Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Accounting Technician in Regina, SK to work for one of our reputable clients. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional bookkeeping and accounting services to our clients in various sectors. • Pay rate: Based on experience
• Location: Regina, SK
• Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Job type: Temporary | Full time

Responsibilities:

• Complete monthly, quarterly and annual bookkeeping
• Identify issues and errors, investigate discrepancies and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
• Prepare and file sales tax and information slips and assist clients with payroll set up and processing
• Prepare and maintain government remittance/filling, accounts receivable, payable and payroll transactions.
• Communicate and address Canada Revenue Agency queries
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accounting diploma or certificate, or a Bachelor’s degree in commerce or accounting
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• Goal oriented with strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Able to multi-task with proven time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Knowledge of accounting and tax software’s such as Quickbooks, Sage and Profile
• Farming knowledge or background is a definite asset
