Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician – Gross Margins on a permanent basis at our Home Office in Saskatoon, SK.

What you’ll do:

  • You will prepare and review gross margins for reporting retail inventories.
  • You will review, batch, and extend retail inventories for processing and edit output.
  • You will review, cross reference, and extend retail outstanding lists.
  • You will prepare journal entries as required.
  • You will prepare retail communications regarding gross margins, online receiving books, and irregularities, as required.
  • You will maintain department files as required.
  • You will prepare reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts. Follow up and clear outstanding items.
  • You will perform other duties as required.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Finance and:

  • You have a high school diploma and two post-secondary courses in financial accounting from an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • You have a minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience. Note that preference will be given to candidates with experience related to the applicable functional area.
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
