The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for performing all Accounts Payable duties including data entry, filing, maintaining and updating financial spreadsheets and performing other duties of the Finance department. This is a non-union position.
This position requires Controlled Goods clearance immediately upon hire. Therefore, only Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered at this time.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1) Strive to consistently act in a manner in which reflects Cascade Aerospace’s culture and values
2) Perform all accounts payable duties and functions accurately and in accordance with Cascade policies and procedures
3) Review accounts and investigate unusual balances or variances
4) Communicate with vendors regarding status of payments and other inquiries
5) Be familiar with and ensure that all workplace conduct is in accordance with Cascade Aerospace’s Human Resource safety and security policies and procedures
6) Perform other duties as required
SKILLS
- Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of payment regulations and fair credit practices
- Must possess a high level of moral judgment for handling confidential information and monetary transactions.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Intermediate Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat DC
- Familiar with ERP systems
- Ability to complete assigned tasks on time while maintaining accuracy
- Ability to respond accurately to verbal and written instruction
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Grade 12 Diploma
Fundamentals of Accounting and Bookkeeping
Experience: 1-2 years accounting and/or bookkeeping experience
