You’ll apply your strong attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset to further the implementation of our new SAP ERP system within Sales and Marketing.

You will use your expertise to:

  • Perform day-to-day accounting, account reconciliations, audit support, customer inquiries
  • Manage lease creation, modifications, and terminations
  • Liaise with operations to ensure the accuracy of lease records, prepayments, advances, incentive loans, and repayments
  • Establish and monitor key financial processes, record required financial transactions, respond to customer queries, reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Support the SAP transition, ensuring business needs are met in design and implementation
  • Participate in process improvement, standardization, and simplification

Must-haves (minimum requirements):

  • Five years of oil and gas experience in finance, planning and external reporting
  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics
  • A recognized accounting designation (CA, CPA, CMA, CGA) with a solid understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • Proven Excel and data analysis skills with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the SAP financial module
  • The ability to partner, influence, and communicate effectively with key business contacts

  • You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
