This position reports to the Senior Category Advisor, Inventory Management. Hybrid/remote work options may be available. The position will be primarily located in Saskatoon corporate office and preference will go to candidates able to work out of the Saskatoon office.
What you will do:
- Participate as a key stakeholder in the ongoing maintenance and development of an automated procurement environment by assisting in a systemized approach in the administration of outline and blanket purchase agreements including, but not limited to, creating, and updating agreements and ensuring master data alignment within our ERPs (SAP & Oracle)
- Provide master data continuity and systemization across Potash, Nitrogen and Phosphate in the management of local outline and blanket agreements
- Provide quality assurance to our Operations by validating master data across all business units, including communication with site subject matter experts, category management, master data governance team, suppliers, etc. and conduct on-line research, as required
- Assist in the development of related procedures, guidelines, and templates with key business stakeholders to improve efficiency and effectiveness, reduce risk to operational performance and continuously identify opportunities for data quality improvement
- Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide a proactive approach to develop and improve business process performance
- Support and maintain procurement and master data standards and on-going objectives to achieve department objectives and KPI targets
- Engage in process driven solutions to problem solve discrepancies within a cohesive team environment including Category Management, Suppliers, Advisors and Warehouse personnel
- Assist in the cataloguing of master data as it relates to outline and blanket agreements
- Continuously identify opportunities for data quality improvement
- Work effectively within a small, highly accountable team; displays a flexible “can do” attitude and willingness to help out where required
- Be enthusiastic, curious, have an ability to look at issues from multiple angles and have a strong desire to learn
What you will bring:
- Degree or professional Supply Chain designation or two (2) or more years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing required.
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft applications with a high skill level with Excel
- Knowledge of and experience with SAP and/or Oracle ERP programs is preferred
- Knowledge of Outline or Blanket Purchase Agreement administration
- Industrial product knowledge is considered an asset
- Experience in data management
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter requiring little supervision
