About Us: Founded in 2005, our artisan creamery is set in the heart of Niagara wine country. Our passionate team handcrafts premium cheese from pure locally-sourced Guernsey milk.
Ideal candidate: The ideal candidate will be energetic, well organized and and comfortable speaking to customers. A passion for handmade food and local products would be an asset.
Scope of Position: Reporting to the Retail Manager, the Sales Associate is accountable for the successful operation of the retail store as it relates to retail sales:
Serves customer and drives sales through engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
Greets and receives each customer in a welcoming manner.
Provides outstanding customer service.
Processes payments by totaling purchases, handling cash and also processing credit and debit cards.
Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
Assists with events and functions such as Farmers Markets, Cheese Club Events, and pop-up sales tents.
Follow Opening and Closing routines as documented
Maintain a high standard in store organization and cleanliness at all times
Work Hours
Store hours are 10AM-5PM, 7 days a week. Summer Friday’s & Saturday’s to 6PM.
Employees will be expected to work weekends and holidays.
Farmers Markets will be early mornings OR evenings, reliable transportation required. Will be paid for mileage.
Credentials Required
Food Handlers Certificate an asset
Car and driver’s licence required
