Location: Carseland, AB, Canada

Start Dates: January 2023

Length of Terms: 12 months

This position is available for hybrid work

What you will do:

  • Design and analysis of new and upgraded mechanical components
  • Contribute to project work encompassing scope definition, tender document creation and ongoing support of contracts
  • Preform in field task support, troubleshooting, and failure analysis
  • Assist in review of Work Order packages to ensure Quality of the WO package and completion.
  • Assists in Flange Management during Turnaround.
  • Assists in ensuring that all the system completion documentation has been signed off.
  • Performs tasks during Turnaround as assigned.
  • Assists in QA/QC activities of the work performed by the contractors.
  • Do field walks for scoping and As-Building as needed.

What you will bring:

  • Engineering co-op student pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, preference is for work terms 4 and 5
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to organize, coordinate and accomplish multiple tasks
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License
