Controller
We are searching for a Controller to join our client’s team in Calgary. The successful candidate will be responsible for IFRS reporting, liaising with operations, external stakeholders, providing all accounting support where necessary.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Develop and implement cost-effective financial policies and procedures
- Ensure policies and procedures and consolidated financial statements adhere to regulatory standards (IFRS)
- Responsible for administering data integrity for all companies
- Responsible for the preparation of business-unit profitability analysis and monthly management reporting
- Work in conjunction with management team to drive the budget cycle and recurring forecast variance analysis.
- Responsible for EPC project accounting and reporting, GST and compliance reporting for multiple entities
- Administer payroll, benefits program as well as elements of employee onboarding and training
Your strengths include:
- CPA designation with 7+ years’ of related experience
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting and international reporting
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
