Digital Account Specialist, SW Ontario

The Digital Account Specialist (DAS) is an active member of the DFS Canada team. Working closely with the local commercial sales team, the DAS delivers the digital farm success metrics, as outlined by the Bayer Crop Science, by being the key contact for farmer customers’ digital farming needs.

This is a home-based permanent position with travel, covering the Southwestern Ontario territory (London, Ontario being a central point).

What you will do:

• Responsible for the digital interactions with farmer customers including signups, onboarding and engagement
• Implement the regional digital farming strategy with key growers
• Maintain and build customer relationships with key Bayer and FieldView customers
• Provide digital farming support to local Bayer and Retail Partner field teams
• Use FieldView as a selling tool to demonstrate the value of the Bayer Crop Science Seed & Trait + Crop Protection portfolio
• Have a complete understanding of FieldView
• Have a high-level understanding of the entire Bayer Crop Science portfolio

Who you are:

• Degree/Diploma with relevant agriculture experience/education; OR 5/+ years’ aligned experience with no Degree/Diploma
• strong English verbal and written communication skills
• experience and proficiency in leading small group meetings both in person and remote via video conferencing
• Familiarity with OEM and aftermarket equipment monitors, GPS, auto guidance is an asset
• Understanding the of ag-retail business is an asset
• Posses or have ability to attain one or more of the following designations: P.Ag, Certified Crop Science Consultant (CCSC); R.T Ag; Order of Agronomists (QC) and/or CCA
• Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing
