ABOUT THE CLIENT
Impact Recruitment has partnered with a growing construction company that is on the hunt for an experienced Director of finance to join their team! The ideal candidate is a designated CPA and has 10+ years of relevant experience.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the CFO, the director of finance will be responsible for managing the accounting team and will be overseeing the finance function, some of the duties include but aren’t limited to:
- Lead the cash and financing function as well as manage weekly/monthly and annual cash projections.
- Review and negotiate loan and lease agreements, monitor bank compliance and review CRA documents.
- Oversee the financial reporting and year-end working papers.
- Work in collaboration with the external auditors, shareholders and financial institution for year-end audit work.
- Oversee the internal controls, ERP system and year-end review engagement process.
- Oversee the budgeting and variance analysis process as well as the tax function.
- Responsible for complex financial entries and oversee the IT function.
- Manage the insurance policies for the business and work on ad hoc projects as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Designated CPA
- 7+ years of accounting experience and 3+ years of construction experience.
- Supervisory experience is needed.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- $130,000 to $140,000
- 3 to 4 weeks vacation
- Extended health and dental
- Discretionary bonus
