Job Description

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this Part-time – contract position is responsible for performing the general filing duties for the Finance/Home Office team. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees, customers and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy vision, mission, and the Farm Boy Way.

Major Responsibilities:

• Basic data entry and validating of information using ADP/WFN
• Box and rotate files as directed.
• Create new files as required.
• Alphabetize employee records for filing.
• Occasional clerical/administrative functions using Accounting software.
• May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Trustworthy, energetic and enthusiastic.
• Well-developed computer skills.
• Effective communication skills – both written and oral.
• Bilingualism would be an asset.

Work & Sensory Environment:

• Required to stand for long periods of time.
• Physical dexterity for repetitive use of arms and hands.
• Ability to lift and rotate boxes of files.
