The mission of the Business Finance Department is to maximize Aritzia’s financial performance with an entrepreneurial mindset

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a unique opportunity to join the Business Finance team supporting and enabling Aritzia’s growth and scalability. As the Intern, Business Finance, you will contribute to Aritzia’s future growth by supporting with strategic and innovative financial insights and solutions to support the growing business. Our goal is that you will come out of your internship inspired, with meaningful experience and an enhanced skill set you can carry forward into your bright future.

THE ROLE

As the Intern, Business Finance, you will support with:

• Planning the business in the short and long term in alignment with departmental and corporate objectives and strategies including but not limited to P&Ls, expenses, labour, COGS, and more
• Proactively maximizing financial performance and drive smart spending through informed and fact based business decisions
• Providing the Leadership Team visibility into performance results with relevant and timely intelligence

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Intern, Business Finance is/has:

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution, with a preferred graduation date of December 2022 or April 2023

• Preferably pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• Passion for Aritzia and the fashion industry
• Skills and experience with Excel are an asset
• A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia’s Values, Business and People Leadership principles
• The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
• A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business
• Previous work experience in Aritzia Boutiques, Concierge or Distribution Centres is highly valued

• Location: Vancouver, BC
