Clearwater Seafoods’ Finance department requires a Finance Manager, Species role based at their Bedford, Nova Scotia Corporate Office. This position is a permanent full-time position and reports to the Director, Species.

Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the financial information and analysis needs of the Species General Manager and their respective leadership team.
• Decision support concerning profitability of the species including:
• Gross margin analyses.
• Region, channel and customer profitability.
• Material/Product profitability.

• Collaborate with Global Supple Chain Finance teams on cost projections and their incorporation in species forecasts.
• Review bridge analysis between actual results, forecast, budget and prior year.
• Work closely with the Species Team in preparing monthly business reviews, forecasts and annual budgets.
• Provide financial support and analysis for strategic initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as required.

The ideal candidate possess:

• A post-secondary education; preferably a business degree with accounting major.
• CPA designation.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• SAP user knowledge is an asset.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
