Clearwater Seafoods’ Finance department requires a Finance Manager, Species role based at their Bedford, Nova Scotia Corporate Office. This position is a permanent full-time position and reports to the Director, Species.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the financial information and analysis needs of the Species General Manager and their respective leadership team.
- Decision support concerning profitability of the species including:
- Gross margin analyses.
- Region, channel and customer profitability.
- Material/Product profitability.
- Collaborate with Global Supple Chain Finance teams on cost projections and their incorporation in species forecasts.
- Review bridge analysis between actual results, forecast, budget and prior year.
- Work closely with the Species Team in preparing monthly business reviews, forecasts and annual budgets.
- Provide financial support and analysis for strategic initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as required.
The ideal candidate possess:
- A post-secondary education; preferably a business degree with accounting major.
- CPA designation.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- SAP user knowledge is an asset.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
