If you are a CPA member who has acquired a minimum of 5 years experience in accounting and supervision and at least 2 years in industry, don’t miss this opportunity to join a daring and young-at-heart company!
Our large-scale client, in business for 50 years, specializing in distribution is currently hiring a Finance Manager for their Dorval office. You will be the contact person for the accounting team.
Job Description:
– Prepare financial statements and related notes
– Prepare management reports
– Supervise 5 Accounting Clerk
– Analyze monthly financial statements
– Prepare, review and analyze budgets, and compare to prior year
– Analyze inventory and variances from standard to actual costs
– Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
– Participate in process improvements and special projects
What you need to succeed in this role:
– University degree in Accounting and Finance
– Accounting title (CPA) – essential
– 5 years of pertinent experience
– Autonomy, attention to detail and team spirit
– Creativity and good communication skills
– Bilingualism (French/English)
– Bilingual reporting
– Computer literacy (MS Office)
– Excellent sense of responsibility, strong communication and analytical skills
