How will you contribute to the team?

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of the RFR joint venture statements to the Finance Committee
  • Assist with any external audits related to the RFR joint venture
  • Prepare monthly interface reports for all Nuclear Canada joint ventures (ex. TGR, RFR, D2O, etc.) for upload in to the HFM system for consolidation
  • Assist the reporting team with producing the Legal reporting package on an adhoc basis
  • Complete transactional accounting for the RFR joint venture in ACCPAC (ex. record payments received, payments issued, invoices, etc.) for review
  • Prepare month-end journal entries required for RFR joint venture in ACCPAC (ex. revenue recognition, accruals, etc.)
  • Assist in developing a robust project controls process for the Nuclear Canada organization
  • Risk management / process improvement within the group
  • Will assist from time to time in the quantification of bargaining / labor relations issues and book accruals related to confidential labor related items
  • Assist the reporting team with monthly journal entries on an adhoc basis

What will you contribute?

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in business, accounting, economics or engineering and working towards an Accounting designation (CGA/CA/CMA)
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in financial reporting
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong skills focused in accounting and financial theory
  • Knowledge of Oracle, Business Object, Hyperion and ACCPAC
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work
  • Detail oriented, organized, innovative, proactive, and self-directed
  • Individual with a high standard of integrity who can manage the use and analysis of confidential payroll and labor-related financial information
