Job description: Please note: This posting is for a 4-month Student Summer 2022 placement with a start date of May 2022, and end-date of August 2022. In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:
Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2022; or
If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2022), you must require the work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

What is the Opportunity?
This role will have the responsibility of leading the creation and collation of a business strategy for Home and Auto Insurance. Aligned to the current 5 year outlook and plan, it will incorporate financial performance, budget, marketing, technology and client satisfaction scores. The result will be a short and long term strategic view of the business.
What will you do?
Conduct current state analysis gathering all information as needed
Work with finance to model growth strategies and performance
Develop a roadmap informing recommended actions, activities, or initiatives for the short, medium and long term
Create an executive level strategy and goals document
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Experience in using Excel and Powerpoint
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Strong analytical skills and an inquisitive mind
Ability to build relationships and work in team environment
Nice-to-have
Knowledge of insurance financials
