Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time.

Salary: Up to $55 per hour, based on experience.

Shifts: Mon – Fri 8 am to 5 pm. Occasional emergencies could require weekend availability

Qualifications:

• Interprovincial Journeyman ticket in Agriculture Mechanics, Heavy Equipment Technician, or Heavy Duty Mechanic.
• Proven experience with hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Previous experience with agricultural equipment such as John Deere, Bobcat, Bourgault, and Swathers is a plus.
• Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and recondition agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Lead the set-up and pre-delivery of new agricultural equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of work orders and repairs.
• Actively participate in training to keep your product knowledge current.
• Other duties as required to support the team.

Brooks, AB, is a great little city in the heart of the Canadian Prairies. It offers a small-town feel with the convenience of amenities. Housing in Brooks is affordable 300k for a good house and 2-bedroom apartments are less than $1,500 monthly. The city is less than 2 hours from Calgary and close to Medicine Hat.
