This position is part time 0.5 FTE, 35 hours bi-weekly.

The Office of the Lieutenant Governor and Government House itself is multi-dimensional, supporting several distinct lines of business including constitutional and international protocol matters, ceremonial and hospitality events, and the management, and maintenance of Government House as a National Historic Site. The role of staff is to provide direct support to the Lieutenant Governor and to the senior management of Government House; to maintain the Government House structures and grounds; and to carry out all obligations, events and other activities in the highest standards of professionalism, observance of protocols, and expectations of the people of British Columbia.
The Driver/Valet is responsible to drive the Lieutenant Governor (“LG”) and / or their spouse and accompanying staff or guests. To support the LG or the office in other tasks as required.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Driver’s License with clean driving record
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Experience driving public officials or experience in related fields.
