This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager, R4B Opex within the Finance Operations team and will support the Rogers for Business (R4B) Business Unit. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the development and execution of management reporting for R4B leaders.

What you’ll do:

  • Execute period close procedures including preparation of journal entries, analytical review of financial results, and distribution of Management and Finance reporting packages
  • Provide value add variance commentary on financial results and key business indicators in partnership with R4B Management
  • Advise business and finance leadership on strategic financial issues and any unusual trends
  • Collaborate with business partners to prepare accurate annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts
  • Provide key analytical support to help drive strategic decisions with business and have a thorough understanding of all cost levers
  • Maintaining and develop financial models to support performance measurement in Internal and External Commissions at the macro level
  • Assist with special projects / ad-hoc assignments as required

What you’ll bring:

  • Business Degree and a recognized Accounting Designation/MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years of progressive financial experience
  • Advanced analytical skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and influence across the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Essbase, and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills would be an asset
