The Manager, Finance, Enterprise Investments will be joining the Enterprise Investment Planning (EIP) team which has a mandate to ensure that CTC’s investment portfolio is prioritized and comprised of initiatives that enable the organization to meet its strategic objectives, while balancing risk/return and financial constraints. The role will report directly to the Vice President.

The Manager, Finance, Enterprise Investments position is categorized as a Connector, which means that the incumbent will be working with a variety of colleagues and partners to achieve business outcomes that require a mixed use of virtual and CTC campus presence.
What you’ll do
- Partner with Business Architecture, FP&A, Corporate Development, Operational Efficiency and other business leaders to advise/develop/validate value cases and KPIs related to major strategic initiatives
- Create executive level presentations to facilitate major investment discussions with the Strategy Mobilization Committee and Executive Leadership including the CFO
- Analyze our monthly investment performance review including identifying financial risks and opportunities to rebalance the investment portfolio and drive increased returns
- Facilitate the post implementation review process across CTC including peer reviews on large initiatives and develop presentations highlighting outcomes/insights to senior executives
- Support the creation of new financial models to support our lifecycle investment decisions for end of life assets or to maintain/protect our existing asset base
- Finance lead on small M&A transactions such as brand acquisitions including detailed financial modelling and scenario analysis

What you’ve done
- University degree in Business, Economics, Accounting/Finance or business related discipline
- Accounting Designation or MBA is considered an asset
- 5+ years of progressive experience in investment evaluation/analysis, decision support type roles
- Superior analytical skills with an understanding of cause and affect financials
- Ability to clearly and confidently communicate written and verbal recommendations, as well as, articulate trade-offs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade different points of view.
- Admirable time management and self-management skills
