Job description:

  • Minimize invoice processing turnaround time while maintaining high level of accuracy
  • Develop thorough understanding of EDI vendor and Concur integration process and ensure it is seamless
  • Ensure vendors subject to pre-authorized debit payment are accounted for properly and reconciled every period-end
  • Timely completion of vendor reconciliation and resolution of reconciling items
  • Ensure seamless flow of receiving, processing and paying invoices for acquisitions including working with Vendor Management team
  • Oversee full cycle accounting for trade A/R and store level customer A/R
  • Develop a deep understanding of Pharmacy system (Kroll/Nexsys/Winrx) to ERP integration
  • Timely recording and application of payments
  • Minimize DSO and develop thorough understanding of short payment behaviour by store and customer to enhance (ECL / AFDA) provision process
  • Ensure seamless flow of billing, recording and processing of customer payment applications to trade receivables relating to acquisitions
  • Participate with company acquisition planning meetings to prepare for pre and post-acquisition integration activities relating to AR and AP
  • Develop KPIs for tracking AP and AR processing accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure sales & purchasing module sub-ledger reconciles to control GL accounts
  • Assist the Corporate Reporting & External Reporting team with period-end deliverables and other ad-hoc reporting as required
  • Develop a high performing team with a focus on constant process improvement

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree & Chartered Professional Accountant
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a supervisory / management role
  • Experience using Concur for Invoice and Expenses processing
  • Strong systems experience, comfortable working with large volumes of data and interest in problem solving data flow / transaction issues
  • Manage high volume of cash application transactions
  • Multi-location and multi-entity experience
  • Ability to think strategically and strong skills to drive business initiatives end to end and deliver insights
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, evolving environment
  • ERP and finance system implementation and/or optimization
  • Intermediate level proficiency in MS Excel
  • Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and financial acumen
  • Superior project management skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a demanding environment

Salary

$1,15,000/year
