KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Consultant/Manager (Functional), Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance for our Consulting practice.
What you will do
- Lead and participate in Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance transformations with a focus on solution strategy, implementation and process optimization
- Collaborate with the client and project team to gather thorough understanding of the client’s business to analyze, design and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance ERP solution
- Review business requirements, perform fit/gap analysis and document functional specifications
- Configure the D365 Finance ERP modules, participate in data migration, testing and security configuration activities
- Execute the day-to-day activities of Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance advisory engagements for a variety of clients including process design, implementation lifecycle assistance and project reviews
- Identify and communicate findings to senior management and client personnel
What you bring to the role
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Functional Lead or Solution Architect with Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance implementation or upgrade experience, with a focus on delivering successful projects to meet client’s transformation goals
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal in English and French
- Excellent business analysis and workshop facilitation skills with ability to train stakeholders
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Finance ERP functionality, in addition to a good working knowledge of other Microsoft platforms that closely integrate with Dynamics 365
- Must have strong working knowledge across all D365 Finance related modules, including: Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Credit and collections, General ledger, Tax, Cash and Bank, Budgeting and Fixed assets with experience implementing Intercompany accounting and Consolidations
- Must have experience of using Financial reporting tool
- Knowledge of Inventory and manufacturing costing and accounting and experience with Human Resources, Payroll or Project Accounting is an asset
- Experience leading functional design discussions, configuration and process documentation with a detailed understanding of D365 Finance system concepts
- Thorough understanding of Finance processes and leading practices with solid knowledge of recommended ISV’s
- Ability to travel up to 80%
