Job Description

What is the opportunity?

RBC Group Advantage ONE Region is hiring a Sales Support Administrative Assistant for one of the fastest growing businesses at RBC. As a Sales Support Administrative Assistant, you will be tasked with providing effective and efficient administrative support services to Group Advantage Sales Consultants in Ontario North and East Region who are primarily located in the Ottawa and Barrie communities.

*Please note that this is a 6 month contract position, with the possibility of renewal.

The work environment is mainly home office and all activities can be conducted virtually.

What will you do​?

  • Focused activities which support New Sponsor onboarding and Member Enrollment planning and execution
  • Creation of TemboSocial tools for virtual appointment booking
  • Support Group Consultants with Calendar and Appointment Management
  • New Sponsor document preparation and follow through.
  • Operational effectiveness supporting Out of Orders – review/action/ support resolution steps

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Two plus years of administrative or other relevant experience/transferable skills in a financial services environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and improve efficiencies.
  • Experience working in a professional services setting (preferably within a corporate environment)
  • Professional demeanor; ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent written, grammatical and oral communication skills with high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and perform under deadline pressures
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Client orientated, self-motivated, self-managed and thrive in a fast paced environment

Nice-to-have

  • Fluency in a second language, considered an asset (English/French)
  • Experience with emerging communications and technology (i.e., web based meetings, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications)
