Are you passionate about numbers and want to contribute to the success of a growing company? Groupe Bâtir is looking for a talented and experienced accounting technician to join our dynamic team.
YOUR MISSION
As an accounting technician, your role will be to assist our financial department in the daily management of our company’s accounting operations.
YOUR GOALS
– Perform routine accounting tasks, such as entering invoices, bank reconciliations and supplier payments.
– Prepare tax returns.
– Participate in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
– Ensure follow-up of customer and supplier accounts.
– Request receipts from suppliers.
– Collaborate with the team in improving accounting processes
– Support in integrating costs into the project management system (Procore)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Diploma in accounting.
– Knowledge of payroll management.
– Previous experience as an accounting technician or in a similar position.
– Experience in the construction field (an asset)
– Good command of accounting software (QuickBooks and Sage) and the Microsoft Office suite.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work independently, accurately and within deadlines.
– Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
– Excellent sense of organization and time management.
