Job title: Senior Analyst, Business – Finance
Job description: Position Summary… The Sr. Analyst, Business initiates, project manages, executes, and supports the development and deployment of new applications, assess Canada business needs and assist the Developers to produce the technical requirements and lead the testing activities. The focus for this role will be on the larger, transformational projects.
What you’ll do…
- Provide stakeholder requirements in User story formats.
- Lead and partner with diverse technical teams on requirements on end-to-end delivery of Finance projects.
- Participate in technical discussions with cross-functional teams to clarify business requirements.
- Support Adhoc critical issues, help troubleshoot issues and provide paths to resolution.
- Perform and assist in Agile project functions. Service orientated with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations and needs.
- Assist Product Manager with Roadmap and defining capabilities.
- Support and manage existing application and provide high level of service to stakeholders.
- Coordinate/participate in testing enhancements as needed to maintain quality & performance standards in the software solution.
- Prepare appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information.
Qualifications:
- 6-8 years working/supporting Finance Domain.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong communication skills, written and oral, strong presentation, leadership, facilitation, and workshop management skills to diverse types of audiences (e.g., senior management, management, vendors, and technical staff).
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome confusion and simplify complex situations by proactively identifying issues, determining appropriate course of action, and building consensus.
- Must be experienced at executing in a fast-paced environment, with the possibility of juggling multiple projects/issues simultaneously.
- Knowledge in running SQL queries would be an asset.
