Job title: Senior Analyst Finance Vizualization and Analytics

Job description:

Design and facilitate workshops to understand user needs, set business requirements, and test BI dashboard designs with users
Translate user needs into compelling BI dashboard designs utilizing best practices in infographic design and aligned with PMS standards
Illustrate alternative concepts by mocking up sketches or wireframes with consistent and professional layout and visual; rapidly iterate and develop final versions
Understand the user experience to ensure high adoption to dashboard usage

Data, Technology, and Tools

Responsible for implementing data visualization report across finance and related information (non-financial data needed to explain results & performance)
Partner with IT to evolve data, technology, and practice in collaboration with the BI manager
Validate data being used in visualizations by using various systems (Excel, SAP, BPC)

Project and Relationship Management

Direct, organize, and lead projects in the implementation of business intelligence platforms for Finance divisions
Build and maintain strong working relationships with all Finance Business Partners and IT
Act as a champion to promote BI benefits across the organization and actively encourage BI usage to relevant business areas
Design and deliver end-user training and training materials; provide technical support as necessary
Host training sessions for finance team for dashboard specific training
Act as the Tableau expert for finance Tableau super users
Perform voice of the customer (VOC) feedback analysis to gain insights, take actions and implements corrective actions
Measure benefits and do lessons learned
Ad Hoc Project involvement such as Finance tool selection to ensure a cohesive and synergic choices
Candidate needs to be agile and capable to adapt to changing environment

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledgeable and interested in project management
Strong analytical abilities
Motivated and ambitious
Bilingual, with strong English writing skills
Solid presentations skills to “tell the story” for senior management
Demonstrate a simplification mindset
Experience with change management
Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Finance, Accounting or IT or Data Science
CPA or MBA or PMP asset
SAP, Tableau (or similar program), Coding Experience (Python, Java, etc.) or SQL certification assets
1-3 years of relevant experience with Tableau and visualization
Experience with SAP data an asset (knowledge of SAP table)
