The role of the Senior Application & Business Analyst is to collaborate with the management team and teams to identify operational needs. You will be responsible for planning, designing, developing and implementing effective systems to support organizational functions and all of our business processes. You will also be responsible for the collection and processing of data to support needs analyses, project proposals and business cases.
Depending on your location, you will have the opportunity to join our Quebec City office located at the Complexe Jules-Dallaire, our Montreal office in Alexis Nihon, or to work remotely. Close to all services, these complexes offer you a panoramic view of the city and modern spaces and technologies promoting collaboration and innovation. Some relocation costs may be reimbursed for the right candidate.
Your contribution to our company
- Act as a key strategic partner with the various business units to effectively address needs and communicate the strategies, objectives and requirements of the organization to developers / technical analysts;
- Confirm with the technical team the understanding of the requirements and validate the execution;
- Review, analyze and execute the necessary configurations in our Yardi Voyager environment and provide support to Level II and III users as required;
- Regularly re-evaluate the various business processes and related systems with a view to continuous improvement of our ERP, Yardi Voyager;
- Lead the planning, design, development and deployment of new applications, databases, changes to existing applications, business process optimization and major upgrades;
- In collaboration with key stakeholders, participate in onboarding and acceptance testing and develop testing scripts and plans;
- Responsible for Yardi documentation for all our environments, including the drafting of functional and technical specifications for standard and custom reports, in addition to participating in the development of deployment and training materials for new and existing modules.
Our ideal colleague
- Has in-depth knowledge of the use of a property management ERP system – ideally Yardi Voyager;
- Has a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role including 3 years with an ERP;
- Masters the various modules (Commercial, ABF, Leasing Pad, Accounting/Finance, Orion BI) from a support and implementation perspective;
- Experience/knowledge in:
- Support for hosted software, cloud solutions and software as a service (SaaS);
- Writing SQL queries, SSRS and YSR reports (or willingness to learn);
- Storage of data and/or business intelligence development projects;
- Clean-up, mapping and transformation of data to support integration initiatives (ETLs);
- Property Accounting – asset;
- ITIL Framework (Incident and Change Management) – asset.
