Senior Associate, Clinical Contracts & Budgets (SCBA)
Part Time (20 hours/week with flexible schedule)
1 Year contract with possibility of renewal
Reports to: Clinical Trial Oversight Manager
Location: Hybrid (Mississauga office and work from home) or fully remote within Canada

What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world! In this vital role you will help our Study Operations team to implement contracts and budgets, clinical site payments, and collaborate on clinical study execution for our Amgen Canada affiliate.
Responsibilities:
Manage end to end process for clinical site contracts and clinical trial related consulting agreements (including contracts, amendments and termination letters preparation, negotiation, escalation, translation, distribution, signature, archiving).
Support site-related questions regarding invoice preparation with respect to submission of invoices in Amgen Payment System (eGPS)
Support resolution of contract issues
Support contracting with local GSO vendors
Maintain contract and payment data tracking in appropriate systems
Handle Confidential Disclosure Agreement process
Find opportunities and best practices with local and regional partners that will give to overall operational efficiency
Ensure payments are made in accordance with contracts
Responsible for providing information for entry into systems

Basic Qualifications
Master’s degree
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of contracts and negotiations experience
OR
Associate’s degree and 6 years of contracts and negotiations experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of contracts and negotiations experience
Exposure to clinical trials
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in Legal, Negotiation and/or Finance
Prior experience with negotiations of clinical agreements budgets
Knowledge of local contracting processes and payment processes
Experience working in a global and/or matrix environment
Attention to detail, negotiation skills, organizational skills
Relationship management
Time management & prioritization
Written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of common software packages (e.g. Office 365 esp. Excel, SAP)
Data analysis and presentation skills
